About Me
I began teaching at Rogers High School in 2011 as a debate coach and Oral Communications teacher. In 2013, I created and started teaching Dance at both Rogers High and Rogers Heritage High Schools. I now teach Dance I-III at RHS and Oral Communications.

Before teaching, I earned my bachelors from the University of Central Arkansas; I majored in Communication and Spanish with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. I was able to study abroad in Costa Rica and Argentina as one of the many benefits of being in the Honors College at UCA. I then came to Northwest Arkansas, where I earned my masters in Communication. While studying, I taught Communication to students at the University of Arkansas. I really enjoyed teaching students and decided to complete my masters in teaching in secondary education. While in the MAT program at the University of Arkansas, I interned at Bentonville High School and Ramay Junior High School.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, Michael, and miniature dachshund, Deiter! Running and yoga are two of my favorite activities; I like running half marathons and taking or teaching yoga classes! I love travel, and I look for every opportunity to explore.
